Online Jewelry Shopping Policies

We have made every effort to accurately describe our jewelry products. We also include images. When we feel the image does not accurately reflect the color of the item, we make a note in the online jewelry shopping catalog under the detailed description. If you have any questions about a jewelry product, please contact us for further information.

Neither of the RealGems.biz LLC partners are gemologists nor do we claim an expertise in determining the value or authenticity of the jewlery products we offer. We do endeavor to ensure we purchase from knowledgeable and reputable jewelry merchants who ensure the authenticity of their goods. We do not purchase jewelry products without an assurance that the semi-precious and precious gem jewelry is genuine and that the fine jewelry metals are as described. In addition, we closely view each jewelry product as it is received, looking for the authenticity markings. Our online jewelry shopping item descriptions are based on the descriptions provided to us by our vendors and when possible, verified by us.

Contact Us for Authorization Prior to Returning Jewelry Products

In all cases, we require that you contact us for permission to return a jewelry product. The jewelry product must be fully insured and packaged properly and sent to the address provided with a written copy of our email authorizing the return to qualify for our full refund offer. The cost of return shipping and insurance will be refunded if a receipt for the same is included.

Return of Jewelry Products For Other Reasons

If you purchase a jewelry product and determine prior to use of the item that you simply do not like it or it was not what you anticipated it to be, please contact us for return instructions. In these cases, we will refund the price you paid, less our cost for shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If you prefer, we can issue you a online jewelry shopping credit against purchase of a different item from our jewelry catalog; this way you will avoid the restocking fee, but will still incur a second shipping fee. We will not refund the cost of your returning the item to us or the required insurance. If the item was shipped in a jewelry box, the box and tag attached to the item must also be returned.

Shipping Jewelry Products

We charge a flat $5.95 shipping fee, whether you purchase one or many items. Our fee includes handling, packaging and insurance.

No Foreign Purchases

Note: we only accept credit card transactions from those with a United States billing address. In addition we only ship within the United States. We must adhere to these policies in an attempt to lower our risk for fraudulent transactions. We know this inconveniences some honest potential customers, and for that we apoligize. We simply have no other choice based on the types of items we sell.

Full Refund Terms for Jewelry Products

Should any item we offer for sale be proven to not be authentic by a written opinion provided by a gemologist or certified jeweler, simply return the item in the condition it was shipped and receive a full money back refund. If we ship the wrong item, if the item is not the size listed in our description or if the item is damaged prior to your receipt, we also will offer you a full refund upon return of the item in the condition it was shipped.

All jewelry products will be insured during shipment from us to you. If the shipment is not received or damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately with the details and we will either provide you details for making a claim or make claim with our insurance (which ever is required by the shipper). Assuming the carrier agrees the item was lost or damaged during shipment, we will issue a full refund to you if the shipper does not reimburse you.
