Ring Sizing for Jewelry

We provide two methods for determining a finger's ring size. While no method is as accurate as actually trying on the ring in question, this should give you a good starting point. Your local jeweler can resize your ring for the utmost comfort. However, our hands tend to swell at times, meaning rings will fit differently on different days and at different times of the day. So rings should be snug but allow sufficient room for the change in fingers size.

Method 1

  1. Cut a strip of paper no wider than 1/4" .
  2. Wrap the paper snugly around your finger and mark the paper where it meets.
  3. Measure the marked length of paper and compare it to the chart to the right for the correct ring size.
  4. If the knuckle is significantly larger than the base of the finger, measure the knuckle to ensure the ring will fit over it. This may make the ring very loose on the finger.

Method 2

Print and cut out the graphic below, wrap the graphic (print side out) around the finger so that the "Read Size Here" black line meets with a ring size number.ring sizing chart
